A double drop of Mizusawa Down from DESCENTE
Just in time for the coldest snap of the year, those auspicious outerwear aficionados DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN are about to drop some serious heat on us. And despite looking like they’d be right at home on the catwalks of Milan or Paris both of these bangers offer an impressive 10,000mm when it comes to their waterproof credentials. Pictured here in white is the ‘Aspire’ jacket which is filled with certified traceable down and has a rounded silhouette thats inspired by a cocoon for the ultimate in protection from the harsh Winter weather. Whilst a draft tube placed inside the front zipper, collar, inner cuffs and powder skirt has been positioned there to block cold air and enhance insulation. Which is further enhanced by some serious tech in the form of an outer constructed from Dermizax Flexile Matte 4-way stretch material with a warmth-retaining Heat Navi which magically converts light into heat.
The Yin to the Aspire’s Yang is a new iteration of the DESCENTE ‘Carry’ jacket (shown here in black) which also uses Heat Navi technology beneath it’s extremely lightweight 30d 4way stretch micro ripstop exterior. Ensuring reliable warmth the down volume has also been significantly reduced to approximately 60% of the previous model and now features a special print on the back of fabric that provides additional insulation. Ideal for mountain sports, the inner collar is detachable to allow for adjustable airflow when removed or if you need some extra room to pop on a helmet. Inspired by the comforting tranquility of nature these two beautiful new jackets combine a seriously cold look on the outside with being super cosy on the inside.
The new DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN Aspire & Carry Mizusawa Down jackets will be available HERE from 18.12.24.
