Our grand day out with Haglöfs and Get Lost Gab

Last Sunday saw us hooking up with our mate Get Lost Gab for a lovely little hike sponsored by one of our favourite brands Haglofs. Given we’re on a mutual mission to inspire as many people as possible to get out and enjoy the hills we settled on a gentle jaunt from Disley in Cheshire up to the Bowstones before circling back through the bucolic settings of Lyme Park. A top time was had by all, with loads of people coming along for what was to be their first ever group hike all of whom said that they’d be definitely doing it again as we all enjoyed a well earned pint at the Rams Head pub. It also helped that the sun was shining so a big shout out to Vallon for the pair of Herons they sent me that really worked their magic. Oh and apologies if you went on the hike and I didn’t manage to say hello to you, I’m blaming my new hiking mate AJ who distracted me with his talk of 90s Manchester nightlife, technical jackets and the recent reformation of the Beta Band.
