Portal take a trip through the Three Forests Way

Whilst in cycling terms it’s relatively short, the 100km of single track, brambly paths and rutty fields that connects three of London’s ancient forests is a deceptively hard one to cross. Known as the Three Forests Way this route that’s usually populated by hikers and horse riders has provided the inspiration for exciting new outdoor brand Portal’s latest photo shoot. Driven by the various challenges along the routes where ancient forest change to manmade roads, the collection reflects the experimental joys to be found in choosing the right kit. Putting the bike and your gear through its paces out on the route before maybe changing things up the next time around in order to see what difference it makes to your riding experience and ultimately find that sweet spot of comfort and performance.
