Avoid the Edge of darkness with NEBO
Somewhat paradoxically, I’ve learned that as the nights become lighter the need for something to light the way tends to increase. I guess this is because a cosy sunset hike becomes a bit more appealing once you’ve got an extra hour to play with and then only have to worry about navigating the dark on the way down. Another observation I’ve had on such hikes is that once the sun has buggered off there will always be a few people who forgot to pack any form of illumination. So this is your yearly reminder to get pack something appropriate if you’re heading out on any dusky adventures. Speaking of which NEBO have just released a handy piece of kit that packs a whopping 2,000 lumens of light into a cool, compact and water resistant pocket torch. Easy to use thanks to it’s dynamic dial, the NEBO Edge 2K also has five different light modes (that includes a disorienting strobe mode to keep unwanted threats at bay) and a handy pocket clip should you want to go hands free. Fully rechargeable the Edge can deliver up to 25 hours of light (in low mode) and is a really useful piece of kit that lends itself to all manner of situations where you need something significantly brighter than an iPhone on you.
