Hang out with mother nature in the F10 Helium from Vango
Given the current craziness in the world there’s never been a better time to escape the noise and head out into nature on a re-calibrating wild camp for a few days. Key to these expeditions is carrying something compact and light to pitch up in once you found the perfect spot. Ticking all the right boxes for a solo wild camping tent the Vango F10 Helium Ultralight 100 is an ideal Autumnal option that combines impressive levels of protection and performance with a weight that tips the scales at just smidgeon over 1KG. Having camped in one of these on top of Kinder Scout I can confirm that though lightweight their Powerlite poles, Dyneema pegging points and TBS Pro Tension Band System are capable of taking some serious wind rattling around them with a reassuring feeling of stability. Whilst when it comes to waterproofing the F10, just like your favourite jacket, features tapes seams to both the fly and ground sheet with a Winter friendly rating of 3000mm HH. In terms of design the use of space is well thought out with enough room for fairly tall hikers and enough head space to avoid that claustrophobic feeling that you can get with some solo tents. As with most tents I’d recommend putting this up in your garden or front room rather than acquainting yourself with it for the first time on top of a mountain in fading light like I did (like a dick). Really light, super stable, offering great protection and at an affordable price the Vango F10 Helium Ultralight 100 is the perfect option for getting yourself out on wild camp and spending some quality time with mother nature.
