Outdoor Licence x British Attire Hike 19.01.25

Fancy a day out with the fam? Wait, hang on, where are you going? No, not that type of fam, we mean a little leg stretch up to Mount Famine in the Peak District rather than spending time with your problematic nephew or that auntie who thinks that Gin O’clock starts at 9.00am. We’re organising another one of our social hikes with our lovely mates from British Attire that sets off from the award winning Packhorse pub in Hayfield at 10.30 where we’ll hike up to Mount Famine. It’s a relatively short, circular hike but there aren’t too many flat sections so make you’ll need to be adequately equipped and fairly fit, though we like to take plenty of breaks and there’s no rush. We’ll come a different route back down Mt. Famine that will still lead us back to the Packhorse where we will be feasting on their legendary Manchester egg and no doubt sharing anecdotes about Arthur Lowe, Terry Hall and Tess Daly.
