Montbell ‘Lake to Fell’ 12–13 September 2026

MONTBELL PRESENTS A PADDLE, A PEDAL & A WANDER ACROSS THE LAKELAND FELLS

Lake to Fell is the UK version Montbell’s long-running Sea to Summit event series in Japan. The UK edition will feature a weekend of activities including: a camp-out in Borrowdale, a series of talks and workshops about the environment and culture of the northern fells (A.K.A The Nature Sessions) and the 35km ‘not a race’ challenge that includes a paddle, a pedal and a wander from lake to fell and back again.

Lake to Fell will provide all the challenge and event infrastructure with none of the race pressure. There’s no timing and no tracking, so move under your own power, at your own pace and enjoy a good day out in the fells with the best people.

This isn’t just another endurance challenge. Lake to Fell will offer a different way to experience the outdoors; one shaped by movement, community, and an appreciation for the landscapes, waterways, and natural rhythms that connect people with place.
